Traineeships are a learning programme for 16 to 18 year olds that will give young people the skills they need to get a job or further training.
They aim to give young people the skills they need to progress into an apprenticeship, further education or employment.
There are three distinct levels, designed to ensure that each trainee gets the support and encouragement they need to succeed.
The length of the Traineeship will vary depending on the individual learner. Trainees are supported by a training allowance, paid by The Welsh Government. Find out more about Traineeships on gov.wales.
