A statement on coronavirus COVID-19

As the number of cases of coronavirus continues to increase and with the recent announcement by Welsh Government that all schools in Wales will shut, we have decided to close our centres to the public until further notice.

This is a decision that we have made for the safety and wellbeing of our customers, partners and employees.

We are committed to continuing to provide our vital careers service via telephone and digital channels in the interim.

The following measures will now be taken:

  • All people with face-to-face appointments booked in over the next couple of weeks will be contacted and offered a telephone/digital alternative. This will also be applicable for those requesting new appointments/interviews
  • All outreach partners including job centres and prisons will be contacted to negotiate digital delivery of services wherever possible.

We are aware that over the coming weeks and months, many people in Wales will need our services and support and we have business continuity plans and strategies in place to aid this.

We will continue to follow official advice about coronavirus over the coming weeks and we are liaising closely with Welsh Government colleagues to monitor and review the situation.

Please keep visiting our website for the latest information about accessing our services.

All the latest news and updates about coronavirus, the symptoms and keeping yourselves safe can be found on the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales websites.
