The Marketing and Communications Manager has a key role in managing and developing the company’s marketing, communications and PR function via an ongoing programme of marketing and communications activity designed to deliver excellent customer experiences, improve the public profile of Careers Wales, raise awareness of the varied services that it provides to young people and adults across Wales and encourage take up of services.
Leading a team, the Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a comprehensive and well-planned programme of high impact marketing campaigns, digital marketing, public relations, communications and public affairs activities, communicating key messages about the organisation by engaging effectively with its various target audiences through a range of marketing and communications channels whilst ensuring consistency of branding and creative content across all platforms.
Grade 7 £42,220 - £45,467

Requirements / Qualifications
The ability to speak and work through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
To be suitable for this position you must be educated to graduate or equivalent standard in a relevant discipline and have significant management experience. You should have demonstrable experience of managing all activity in relation to public relations, marketing and campaigns, communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement, digital marketing and social media, branding, advertising and events.
You will be expected to manage contracts held with outside agencies and build effective relationships internally and externally to enhance the customer experience. You will be required to closely monitor budgets and performance as well as the marketing and communications strategy and campaign plan to effectively enhance the profile of the company.
