Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd (CCDG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Welsh Government. We deliver a remit set by Welsh Ministers and provide the all-age, independent, impartial and bilingual Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) service in Wales. 

Our vision is for all young people to move smoothly and successfully into employment and for adults to be inspired to take control of their careers.

HR Officer

Salary: Part time HR Officer starting salary is £13,990.80, pro-rata to £23,318 per annum

Location: Any Careers Wales centre across Wales (temporarily home-based)

Closing date: 9am on 25/10/2021

We are looking for an HR Officer to provide HR support services across all areas of HR responsibility within Careers Wales.


Careers Adviser and Trainee Careers Adviser

Salary: Careers Adviser, starting salary is £25,980 and Trainee, £23,318

Location: Bangor, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Cwmbran, Conwy/Gwynedd, Newtown, Neath Port Talbot, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wrexham and West Ceredigion

Closing date: 9am on 03/11/21

We are recruiting qualified and trainee Careers Advisers who can work with a wide range of people across Wales.


Administration Assistant

The successful applicant will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative and reception support to our teams and centres.

Salary: Starting Salary: £19,240 per annum (pro-rata for part time)

Queensferry (1 post, 37 hours)
Caerphilly (1 post, 37 hours)
Aberystwyth (either 37 hours or would consider applications for part time working)
Pembroke Dock (1 post, 22.2 hours)

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for all posts.

Employability Coach

Salary: The starting salary is £20,396 per annum

Location: Swansea Careers Centre 2 posts, one for 37 hours per week and the other for 29.6 hours per week and Haverfordwest Careers Centre, 37 hours per week

The ability to speak and work through the medium of Welsh is desirable for these roles
