Career Discovery is a set of digital resources to use with learners in year 10.
We have created these resources with employers from a range of sectors. They link to the Areas of Learning in the Curriculum for Wales.
The resources can be used during the 2024/25 academic year.
They include:
- An explainer video
- A set of recorded employer videos for each Area
- Tasks and activities set by employers
The resource aims to:
- Support learners to understand the link between Areas of Learning and the workplace
- Raise career aspirations
- Introduce learners to employers who can inspire, inform, and motivate them
- Challenge career limiting beliefs around gender, race, and background
- Cover topics including the Welsh language, rurality, and equality
