Over the next five years we will be continually assessing and reporting on the impact that our services will have on the educational, economic and wellbeing outcomes for people in Wales.
Delivering value and measuring impact
We will:
- Maximise the use of data, tracking the progress and outcomes of young people and adults
- Build our relationships with academics and researchers to develop new insights to enhance our services and policy development
- Undertake a feasibility study to explore the development of a new intelligence hub to work collaboratively with other national, regional and local providers
- Identify trends within communities, sectors and demographics and work with partners to develop new programmes to address specific issues
We will explore the fiscal benefits that Careers Wales' services provide the wider economy and added-value impact of activities such as:
- Reducing the number of NEETs
- Improving job awareness, skills matching and employer engagement
- Improving integral, digital and career management skills
- Increasing entry to employment, training, entrepreneurship and volunteering
- Increasing wellbeing through careers support to help reduce dependency on the state
