Health and care related apprenticeships can be found in the NHS, opticians, dental or doctors surgeries, pharmacies, and care homes.

Types of apprenticeships can include:

The care industry recruit apprentices differently to other industries. In the care industry you will usually need to apply for a care job, and then the employer may put you on to an apprenticeship programme to gain qualifications. This is why you will not see many apprenticeships in care advertised.
