You might want to find out more about a college or training provider. Your Careers Adviser can arrange a visit for you, or ask the provider to contact you.
2. Help you complete your college application form
Your Careers Adviser will not do this for you but they can help you to understand the questions and help you think about what to write.
3. Tell you about what support you will need in college/training
If you have had support in school, you should be able to get support in college and on training. Your Careers Adviser will talk to you about this and can let the college or training provider know what you need to help you.
4. Tell your parents what needs to happen next
Your Careers Adviser can have a chat with your parents to talk about your ideas if that is what you would like them to do.
5. Talk to other people who can help you
There may be things that your Careers Adviser cannot help you with. They can find someone who can help you by talking to other agencies for you.
