We are pleased to work in partnership with the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol and invite competitors to rehearse at the centre during the week.

The Pontypridd careers centre is next to the YMa building on Taff Street (CF37 4TS).

It is possible to rehearse at the centre Monday to Friday, between 9:15 and 10:30am and 12:00 and 2:00pm.

A piano will be available and there is plenty of space for individuals, duets and small parties of up to 30 members.

Contact us via marketing@careerswales.gov.wales to book a slot to rehearse.

What is the National Eisteddfod?

The Eisteddfod is the largest annual festival in Wales. It has over 150,000 visitors every year. It celebrates Welsh culture and the Welsh language. There’s something for everyone, whether you can speak the language or not.

Get inspired to learn Welsh

Learning a new language can open a world of opportunities. There are lots of reasons people learn Welsh. Some learn Welsh to improve their career prospects, some to connect with their roots, and others for social reasons.

If you want to learn Welsh, or develop your Welsh language skills, there are plenty of opportunities at the Eisteddfod. Why not visit the Learn Welsh Village in the Eisteddfod to find out more?
