Get ready to meet your Careers Adviser
Before you meet with your Careers Adviser you could:
- Have a chat at home about your ideas for the future
- Think about your options after you leave school
- Think about yourself – what you enjoy, what you are good at and what you need help with
- Think about why you made those choices
- Think about what you want to find out
- Think about what you would like to talk about with your Careers Adviser
- Make a note of any questions you’d like to ask
You might want to talk to your Careers Adviser about:
- Making decisions - how do you decide what's best for you?
- Planning - what do you need to do to get into college/work/training?
- Your choices when you leave school – do you know what they are?
- Support -who can help you?
