What is a careers interview?

A careers interview is a meeting between you and a Careers Adviser. The interview is all about you, and the Careers Adviser is there to help you.

Why should I have a careers interview?

You do not have to meet with a Careers Adviser but this is a chance for you to:

  • Talk to someone about your ideas
  • Find out about things you are not sure about
  • Check that you have made the right plans and decisions

Careers Advisers can:

What happens in an interview?

A Careers Adviser will not tell you what you should do but will ask you some questions about your choices. This is to help make sure that you have thought of everything and made the right choice that is right for you. The Careers Adviser will:
