The Welsh Government has a target to get 1 million people being able to speak Welsh by 2050. This might mean an increase in the number of people who will want to access services in Welsh, creating job opportunities where Welsh language skills are needed.
Most public sector organisations in Wales have to offer their services in Welsh and English equally. Many other organisations in the private and third sector are also encouraged to embrace bilingualism and offer services in Welsh in Wales.
